Moving Forward into 2014

My top priority writing project moving into the early part of this year is completing the sequel to my first novel, The Pulse, which was published in the summer of 2012.  The sequel is scheduled to be published this summer, probably in July.  I didn't plan to have a two-year gap between those two books but working with a publisher means working with their schedule.  That meant completing The Darkness After and The Prepper's Workbook in 2013, the latter to be published in March this year.  But in addition to those contracted books, I have been working on the development of other fiction and nonfiction projects that will move forward as soon as the manuscript for this sequel is turned in to my publisher. Some of these writing projects will take a different direction and I'm looking forward to getting my focus back to my true passion of adventure and travel, and especially sailing.  I will also be working on the refit of the Cape Dory 27 sailboat I bought in Florida last year, getting it ready for more coastal and offshore cruising and spending as much time aboard as possible.Going forward I am streamlining my online presence and plan to begin using this site almost exclusively; especially getting away from the distractions of Facebook, Twitter and other social media that I seldom used anyway.  My other blog sites will remain active and are linked to in the menu above.
